Three minute thesis' competition

Three minute thesis

Graduate student Dan Catlin spent an afternoon discussing his thesis.  However, the audience were his fellow Loyola graduate students, associated faculty, and the deans of the graduate school rather than his thesis committee.  Dan was participating in Loyola's 'three minute thesis' competition, an event which celebrates the work of graduate students from across the university.  Dan's presentation of 'The Detection of DNA On and Off States in Bacterial Infections' placed second in the competition.  Congratulation Dan!
