Engineering and Pre-Med
Dr. Steven Shea, Radiology, prepares an imaging phantom for an MRI lab experiment with Class of 2019 juniors in ENGR 341L.
The Engineering major is very rigorous and allows students very little flexibility in scheduling. A student seeking to complete this major as well as satisfying medical school requirements will find it very challenging to complete both programs of study in four years. In almost all cases, it will take a student at least five years (as well as summers) to satisfy both sets of requirements. Students considering pursuing both programs should speak with the Chair of Engineering and the Director of Pre-Health Advising immediately.
