Loyola University Chicago offers a Music major and minor to students planning on a career in music. Within those, students are also able to declare concentrations in Jazz Studies, Liturgical Music, and Vocal Performance. Curriculum consists of music theory, musicianship lab, music history, electives, applied music, and ensembles. Our faculty are professional musicians working in the Chicago area, and they are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction within the framework of a Jesuit liberal arts education.
