Alberto Baltazar

Alberto Baltazar

Alberto Baltazar is responsible for Research and Advocacy within the Jesuit Migrant Service of Mexico City. His work focuses on developing and implementing the organization's research strategies to support its accompaniment work, particularly on advocacy. He is responsible for performing data analysis and analytics of data collected through investigations and information registration systems of the organization. Alberto is also a Research Consultant for the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) within Mexico City. In this role, he develops surveys and conducts interviews with key stakeholders about strategic topics concerning human mobility for the writing of bulletins for the Grupo Regional de Riesgo, Emergencia, Desastre de América Latina y El Caribe (REDLAC).

Alberto received his Master Degree in Cultural Studies from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (El COLEF) in 2014 and a Master of Science by Research in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh in 2018. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Freie Universität Berlin.
