Libraries
The Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health serves both undergraduate and graduate students, who have access to different libraries across the University’s campuses.
Undergraduate Students
Parkinson undergraduates have access to the Cudahy Library, the University’s main library, located on the Lake Shore Campus. The Cudahy Library houses the University's fine arts, humanities, science, and social sciences collections, as well as the University Archives and government document depository collections. The library's physical collections comprise more than 900,000 volumes and 3,200 periodical subscriptions; online resources include hundreds of research databases, thousands of e-books, and over 35,000 journal titles.
Graduate Students
Graduate students can use the online collection at the Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Library on the Health Sciences campus. This library also serves the Stritch School of Medicine, Niehoff School of Nursing, and the Loyola University Medical Center. The convenient, all-electronic collection facilitates biomedical discovery by connecting students to the resources, tools, and services needed to excel. This library's bright and welcoming space offers areas to study, research, and collaborate as well as charging stations and wireless printing capabilities. Students can visit the library to borrow anatomical models, leisure reading, laptops, iPads, Wacom tablets, and VR equipment, and attend library-sponsored programming and events.
