About
Professor Lindo is a former US diplomat and international trade officer. She spent 20+ years in technical writing and communications roles for the US government and the private sector in diplomacy, international trade, marketing communications, corporate expansion and partnerships in the US, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Ecuador and China. In these roles, she helped inform or shape US policy and corporate expansion activities through research, industry reports, white papers, policy papers, diplomatic cables and marketing communication strategies. In Italy, Prof Lindo was Marketing and Communications Manager, Publications at UniCredit Bank then Head of Marketing and Commercial Development for geopolitical think tank Eastwest European Institute. In academia since 2017, Professor Lindo has focused on teaching undergraduate, graduate and professional students the arts of academic writing, business writing, business communications, intercultural communications, public speaking and marketing at Italian institutes for higher learning, American universities and the Italian Central Bank (Banca d’Italia). Professor Lindo is co-author of publications such as The U.S. Jet Transport Industry: Competition, Regulation, and Global Market Factors Affecting U.S. Producers and an AI Strengthening Guide for educators in higher education, as well as numerous articles for online and print publications.
