About
Anne's first degree is in Modern Languages (Italian, German and French). As a student she worked in Rome, perfecting her Italian language skills. On graduating she spent five enjoyable years in the tourist industry in France, Italy, Spain and Greece. Travel continued during her years spent raising a family, accompanying her partner on long-term postings to Iran, India, France and Japan.
Delighted to restart her career in the JFRC, she discovered her true vocation as a librarian, confirming this by achieving an MA degree in Information and Library Studies from Aberystwyth University.
Anne welcomes all members of the community into the library, supporting their studies, research and teaching. She goes out of her way to ensure that each one of them benefits from the beautiful space and the amazing collections on offer both physically and virtually. In her free time Anne enjoys hiking, food shopping at the local Trionfale market and life-long learning.
