The John Felice Rome Center library, also known as the Information Commons (or “IC”), offers the perfect combination of resources and inviting study space 24/7. Prepare for class, study for exams, or just get some quiet reading time in at the IC, where the dedicated librarian and a rotating team of trained student assistants are available daily to help you with the practicalities of research and producing academic work. During the semester, special events and training connect you with the resources and the advantages the library offers.
The extensive collection of physical books, journals, and magazines is regularly updated with the latest scholarship selected to support the curriculum and wider interests of library users in an international institution. All students, faculty, and staff have access to Loyola University Chicago Libraries’ online resources, including:
- 31,000+ streaming videos, including movies
- 500+ research databases
- 810,000+ e-books
- 329,700+ online journals
The IC is equipped with PCs and iMacs, color and black-and-white printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
