Senn Scholars

David Prasse Community Schools Scholarship

The Senn Scholarship program stems from the partnership between Loyola University Chicago and Senn High School. The program provides financial and wrap-around support to five scholarship recipients each year. Structured as a Sponsored Student Organization at Loyola, this program provides dynamic and structured programming opportunities as well as individualized, supplemental advising in order to support student's academic and co-curricular involvement and success throughout their Loyola Experience, through timely graduation.

The Senn Scholarship program includes:

  • Scholars Welcome Program
  • Monthly group meetings with exposure to Loyola resources that will assist in building a positive and successful experience at Loyola
  • On-going partnership with Senn High School through service opportunities and mentorship of current Senn High School students
  • Mentor program within Senn Scholars at Loyola
  • Community building activities
  • Individual meetings with the Senn Scholars Program Advisors throughout the semester
  • Connection to on-campus involvement including Loyola’s retreat program, student organizations, and on-campus employment
