After the crazy year that was 2020, the world has been looking to the future with hope. Whether it's the vaccine, or the idea of returning to normal, or the new generation of professionals, there are things to look forward to and give us hope. This feeling is what inspired the theme for this year’s Advertising and Public Relations Awards, Together We Hope.

The School of Communication event will take place Tuesday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom. At the event, we will hear from a panel of Loyola alumni about their experiences in graduating during a pandemic and their hopes for the future. They will also give advice to the up-and-coming professionals, sharing their experiences.

The Advertising and Public Relations Awards are a chance for School of Communication students to submit a campaign they worked on in a class and be awarded for their achievements. Undergraduate and graduate students within the School of Communication are encouraged to submit work from the 2019 or 2020 school year to be considered for Outstanding Achievement Award in advertising, integrated strategic communication, public relations, or public service communication.

The winner of the public service communication category will receive the Ebeling Pr-ize™, an academic scholarship of $2,000. Deadline to submit work is April 12th, and students can find details for submitting work here.

Together We Hope is a chance to get together to honor outstanding achievements and look to the future of new professionals with hope.

Register for the event by April 17th here.
