Dr. Goutham M. Menon LinkedIn_Profile  has over two decades of academic experience at the undergraduate & graduate levels having taught at the University of Texas at Arlington (1996-1998); University of South Carolina (1998-2005); and at the University of Texas at San Antonio (2006-2013); Director and Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, School of Social Work, Division of Health Sciences (2013-2016). He joined Loyola University Chicago in 2017 as Professor and Dean of the School of Social Work.

  • In alignment with the mission of Loyola, provided a vision, engaged various stakeholders to build a rationale for the university to invest, develop and implement the first online bi-lingual (English/Spanish) MSW program in the US Mainland - 2018
  • Launched the first online MSW program in Nevada with differential tuition to enable students to earn a graduate degree with lower student debt primarily from rural and frontier locations in Nevada and across the country - 2014-2017
  • Helped develop the first MSW program in a public university in San Antonio tailored to non-traditional; first generation students (mainly LatinX) - 2006-2011
