What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The lifelong friends I've made and the support I've been given. Plus, it is a beautiful campus.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
The dedication our offices exhibited in the days after hurricane Katrina to help those students who were displaced find a home here. There was an unprecedented outpouring of care and compassion from the entire Loyola Chicago community.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
The value of an education should be judged by how well one uses their knowledge to improve the lives of others.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Knowing that what I do may allow a student to achieve a Loyola education when they might otherwise not have been able to afford it.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
My nieces and nephew are walking advertisements for Loyola with all their sweatshirts and t-shirts!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I sang professionally for over 11 years with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra/Chorus, which allowed me to perform not only here in Chicago but also in Carnegie Hall, the London Proms, and the Salzburg Festival with some of the finest musicians in the world.
