What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Our students and my fantastic colleagues in Advancement and across the University.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
My most memorable achievement was being promoted to the position I hold now in Gift Planning. It is an area of Advancement I really wanted to learn more about and is proving to be a great fit. My interest in my work allows me to collaborate more effectively with coworkers and contribute more significantly to Loyola's mission.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
To be part of a community that works toward a more just society. Each one of us here are part of something bigger than ourselves and have an opportunity to contribute through our roles. It is an honor for me in my role to steward and carry out the wishes of our generous donors who feel so strongly about their Loyola experience and the work we continue to do.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Knowing that my work makes a difference, as well as my sense of responsibility and commitment to my colleagues, our donors, and Loyola's students.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride
I would wear Loyola gear more often to show my pride, but my son who wants nothing more than to be a Rambler, confiscates every water bottle, t-shirt, and sweatshirt I bring home and wears them proudly. Next on his wish list is a pair of Nikes just like Sister Jean's.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I have a degree in Philosophy.
