Integrative Cell Biology PhD
Integrated Program for Biomedical Sciences (IPBS)
The Ph.D. program in Integrative Cell Biology provides an enriched research environment for students to pursue their studies in contemporary topics in cell biology, crossing various disciplines from normal hematopoietic through inflammation, microbiota, and cancer. Our student will be exposed to and familiarized with cellular and molecular methodologies. We emphasize strongly on developing critical thinking, problem-solving and presentation skills in our graduate students.
This program enhances the understanding of neuro-regeneration, pain, and the development of stem cells and lymphocytes associated with aging and transplantation. It also emphasizes interdisciplinary research areas such as injury models, neuroimmunology and neuroendocrinology and research that may benefit clinical application.
In order to join the Integrative Cell Biology PhD track, students must apply to the Integrated Program for Biomedical Scienes (IPBS).
