COVID-19 contest
Share Your Funniest Quarantine Moments to SES!
This request is centered on maintaining connections within our community during this COVID19 pandemic and adding a little lightness to our day. You choose the topic! Share with your IES community the many ways you’ve staved off boredom and stayed in touch with the outside world during this pandemic. We are looking for videos or honest and funny well-written reflections. Have you been participating in Parkour challenges in your living room? Is your cat or dog particularly funny? Show us what keeps you going and helps you regain your sanity and composure during this time. Share with us the funniest or most heartfelt moments that you’ve experienced. So get creative! And, as an added incentive, we are offering cool IES swag for all of those who make a submission. Free lip balm or t-shirts anyone?
Once you have something to share, please send the video or article to Shanna Yetman at syetman@luc.edu. We will get back to you about potentially posting your video or article on social media or in a special student bulletin. Please know that we will not share your video/submission outside of IES staff without your permission, and if we do decide to share your submission on IES social media or in a special student bulletin we will seek permission before posting publicly. Thank you!
Requirements:
- Video can be around 30 seconds - 2 minutes long.
- An article can be around 200-500 words.
- Deadline for Submissions is May 31, 2020.
