Kathleen Janosky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Wellness Center in 2022. Kathleen graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in English and later obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Loyola University. For the past sixteen years, she has worked as a clinical therapist in a variety of settings including in colleges, a community mental health setting and in private practice. Drawing from relational and feminist perspectives, Kathleen values voice and autonomy within treatment and honors each person’s unique intersecting identities. Kathleen has specialized training in EMDR and DBT. She also has specialized training to address power based violence. Areas of particular interest include working with individuals with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity development. Outside of work, Kathleen loves long conversations with friends, big cups of coffee, reading novels and discovering new podcasts.
