Mathematics
Many majors at Loyola require a year of calculus; with the addition of just a few more courses you can earn a Mathematics Minor. Majors in biology, chemistry, economics, and physics are especially encouraged to consider this option. The foundational training in mathematics offered by this minor will give students a deeper understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of their major discipline, and will equip them with critical thinking and technical communication skills that will prove invaluable in their pursuit of a STEM career.
