On Nov. 16, Dr. Williams is the Distinguished Professor of Women's Health, and Director of the Center for Women, Children, and Youth at the College of Nursing, Ohio State University. She is using her expertise in community-based research and women's health to help African-American and other underrepresented women receive potentially life-saving preventative health care information in their own homes and with family support. A second ABSN program location was added in Downers Grove. Maywood ABSN students learn the fundamentals of nursing face-to-face in a traditional classroom setting, while Downers Grove students complete these same courses online.
