Graduate student wins 2021 Midwest Nursing Research Society poster competition
The Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing is proud to recognize Whayoun Lee for her outstanding achievement at the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) 2021 Research Conference. Her presentation, “Using the Evidence: Developing an ICU Delirium,” earned first place in the student poster competition. The project examines the importance of nursing contributions to delirium assessment and management in preventing complications that impact patient safety and quality of care. Lee’s faculty director, Assistant Professor Kimberly Oosterhouse, served as a mentor on the project. Lee is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Loyola Nursing.
