Lance Boehm

(he/him/his), Sports Program Coordinator

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Lance returns to Loyola Campus Rec after a year and a half as the new Sport Programs Coordinator. A Loyola alum himself, Lance spent time in the intramural and club sports programs during his time in undergrad. He worked in multiple roles from intramural official, intramural supervisor club basketball president, and program assistant before graduating in 2019 with a double major in Sport Management and Marketing. From there Lance continued his education down in Norman, Oklahoma at the University of Oklahoma, pursuing a Master's Degree in Higher Education while also working as the Graduate Assistant for intramural sports. Intramural Sports was a huge part of his college experience and allowed him to create many lasting relationships and memories that continued beyond graduation.

Lance considers himself a sports junkie so you can usually catch him watching his hometown Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals or Kansas Jayhawks. He also loves traveling and exploring new places as well as trying new foods and restaurants around Chicago.

Lance feels grateful to be back at his alma mater and working in a department that was such a formative part of his collegiate experience. His favorite aspect of campus recreation is building relationships and creating positive, impactful programs, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to serve and engage the Loyola community through campus recreation.

Jeremiah Lester

(he/him/his), Facilities and Aquatics Coordinator

Jeremiah earned his BS in Physical Education Teaching and MS in Coaching at Indiana State University. His journey in Campus Recreation started his freshman year in Competitive Sports where he was an Official for Intramurals and has been involved ever since. Throughout his college career he has worked mostly every position there is in campus recreation, except anything pertaining to training. He has also worked jobs such as serving and Pest Control. Jeremiah enjoys telling personal stories and terrible puns, but what he loves the most is what role Campus Rec and the staff have played in his life. He strives to be like those who mentored him and wants to provide both personal and professional development for all. Also, he does not drink coffee.
