Interviewing Candidates
As a result of a telephone pre-screen, the top candidates are chosen and typically called to schedule an in-person interview.
- The in-person interview may be one-on-one or by group and may also be interviewed by a HR professional.
- After interviews are conducted, the hiring department may determine the top one or two candidates who are invited back for a final interview.
- A decision is made and a primary candidate is selected.
* NOTE: Questions asked to applicants should be open-ended and behavioral-based that relate directly to the education, duties, skills and knowledge required to perform the job.
