About
After completing his PhD in 1998, Dr Masini launched into a career as a social scientist spanning several areas:
- K-12 education research at a Department of Education research laboratory
- Market research with a focus on non-profit and higher education
- Health research with a focus on HIV treatment and prevention
- Institutional research where he spent 13 years at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).
His accomplishments include introducing online surveying when it was in its infancy, transforming an institutional research department into an office of institutional effectiveness, developing a ground-up approach to the assessment of student learning, and playing a central role in the re-affirmation of HLC accreditation for NEIU.
