Data Literacy

Data Literacy is integral to any institution learning how to use their institutional analysis in a useful way.  At LUC, the primary group leading data literacy train-the-trainer processes is called the Data Discernment Initiative Champions (DDIC). These representatives from each school/college/division are trained in data governance processes as well as on how to use each institutional analysis optimally to improve their area’s business processes. If you are looking for your DDIC representative, please contact this listing.  The DDIC meets monthly for training and discussion; they also provide OIE with feedback on how to improve data access, views, analysis and other aspects of data governance so that users continue to have optimal use of institutional data.
